Enable Or Disable Adobe Flash Player In Vivaldi Browser

In our previous article, we discussed about installing Adobe Flash Player for the new Vivaldi browser. One of our user, who is impressed with Vivaldi browser's capabilities, asked us if it's possible to disable Adobe Flash Player in Vivaldi when not required.

Well, if you're wondering why disable Flash Player after installing the same, the answer is security. Although Adobe tries its best to release a patch whenever a vulnerability is discovered in Flash, the company takes up to a week to patch the vulnerabilities. Since critical flaws are discovered very often in Flash Player, many users prefer disabling Flash when not required.

Because the number of issues with Flash Player is increasing and because most websites now use the advanced HTML 5 technology, all popular web browsers offer an option to turn on or off the Flash Player when required.

If you prefer keeping Adobe Flash for Vivaldi browser disabled when not in use, you can do so with a few mouse clicks by enabling or disabling Flash Player plugin.
