Windows 8.1 now offers you a context menu for Networks, that let you easily carry out certain operations for your computers networks and manage them. If you have successfully applied the Windows 8.1 Update, you will see some new options. Once you have installed the update, you will see a new context menu for Networks.

To check this feature out for yourself, take your mouse cursor to the bottom right corner to open the Charms bar. Click on Settings and go to Networks.
Here you will see a list of your Network Connections. Right-click on any of your networks to get a context menu, which will let you quickly carry out several functions and manage your connections, including WiFi connections.
In the case a network requires passwords and you have saved your login credentials, you can remove the saved username and password by selecting Clear saved sign-in info.
You can choose to remove certain networks by clicking on Forget this Network.
You will be able to set a Wi-Fi network as a metered connection by selecting Set as metered connection or show your data usage by selecting Show estimated data usage. This is especially useful you are travelling and connected with a pay-as-you-go network and you want to manage or track your data usage. If you cannot see this option, open Charms bar > Settings > Change PC settings > Network > Data Usage > Enable Show my estimated data usage on the Networks list.
You can also opt to Set as non-metered connection a network connection.
Many a times, such small Windows features get overlooked, but I am sure some of you may find this useful.
